    Lightbulb The Match of the Century - 50th Anniversary Approaches

    On 11 July 2022, it will be the 50th Anniversary of the Spassky v Fischer World Championship Match. A match that sparked a worldwide interest in chess. Is the ACF doing anything to celebrate this event or recognise its importance to Australian Chess ?

    Hobart Chess Club used openings from decisive games in Fischer-Spassky from our annual Sturges Memorial fixed-openings event.
