Lindores Abbey Blitz in honour of the 85th Anniversary of Mikhail Tal’s birth is open to players in the FIDE Grand Swiss and invited wildcards.It is a Swiss tournament with nine (9) rounds. Each round shall consist of two games played against the same opponent, one game with each colour.
The time control will be 3 minutes plus 2 seconds per move.1st prize is US$10,000.GM Kuybokarov is entered.

The ratings shown on the chess-results, FIDE blitz ratings, are an abomination. FIDE should stop its blitz and rapid ratings as they are consistently seen to be a load of crap.
