I toured a bit of Beijing with this famous singer. Everywhere people were jumping out of lifts and out of buses to let us on. He did own a small motor scooter. He sang Home on the Range specially for me. The whole hotel stall barged in. His wife was also a famous dancer and excellent cooker of dumplings.

He toured many western countries in late seventies and eighties. He opinion of Australia was that it reminded him of Russia = was full of drunks. Later his daughter migrated here to Sydney. He may have as well who knows.
