A fun, exciting and unique online tournament for all chess players.

Chess variants are games played on a chessboard with all of the usual pieces, but with some different twists in the rules and each with its own special way that the game is won and lost. Chess variants are a great leveller. Chess skills will help, but perhaps the ability to think laterally is even more important.

• Thursday 30 Sep
• 1pm to 4.30pm (approx)
• 7 rounds, 7 different chess variants!!
• Time control : 13 min per player +2 sec per move
• Full instruction via Zoom on the rules of the new variant prior to each round
• Open to all
• $15 entry fee
