    The above calendar no longer applies. As we do not know yet when OTB play can resume, from next week we are running online tournaments through our Rooty Hill club on chess.com. On Tuesdays we will.play 5 minute arena tournaments and on Thursdays 10 minute "standard" tournaments starting at 6.30 PM. Registrations beforehand required from5.30 pm on the day. These events will run until we can run the postponed OTB Rooty Hill Open.

    Players not normally resident in Australia must have a FIDE rating listed on the official FIDE website to be able to play
    in the Open tournament.

    Our hope is to start the Rooty Hill Open on on Tuesday 26 October and finish the tournament on Tuesday 21 December. Obviously this depends on what the NSW Government allows.
