    It is so nice to play against humans after all... Even 2600+ are not that good, they are making mistakes.

    Thanks for the link! A nice explanation by Ganguly why Anton's ending should be a draw. Apparently even 2600+ do not know that.

    Anton played well, showing good understanding of the position and creating passed pawns. Max and Moulthun did well too in their match against India. Lets hope Australian team does well in the knockout stages

    Unfortunately the women's team didnt qualify for the knockouts

    9th place is painfully close, but they'll come back stronger next time, much like the Australian Open team did after narrowly missing out on qualifying for Division A in this year's FIDE Online Olympiad.
