    Chess at Molendinar social chess club

    Chess Simul Tuesday 7 th January at Molendinar Gold Coast

    On Tuesday 7 January at noon, 8 year old Luka (number 3 rated in Qld for his age group) , will play a Simul against all comers , at the Molendinar social chess club... at the Lyn Richardson community centre 2 a Gidgee court Molendinar Gold Coast. The chess simul is free and there will be free food and coffee supplied. More info phone Ray 0411520833. The club does have 10 tournament size chess sets but please bring your own if you have one.

    12 attended on 10 November. There are some very strong players there now so if you want some great games roll up! The group meets on tuesdays and fridays

    Times to play chess 9 am to 2 pm each Tuesday and Friday at Molendinar community centre 2 a Gidgee court Molendinar. All levels beginners to experts. Some free food available.     Tuesdays and Fridays are the place to be for great games of chess at molendinar. Attendance is steadily growing with seventeen players attending on Friday 20 November. From beginners to expert all are welcome

    Great happenings at molandenar today Saturday 28 thNov. End of month free asian feast at noon. Chess from 9am to 3 pm. At the community centre. Young luka will be there today. Interest in chess is increasing down there. Last tuesday 16 people attended

    Hi Allan,

    Does the playing area at the Lynne Richardson community centre have proper aircon? (I had a look at the website, but it only mentions "main hall ceiling fans".)
