    The position is illegal because it is not possible to reach it from the starting position with any series of legal moves. The FEN viewer crashes as soon as there are more than 16 pieces of one side, which is why it crashes at character 20. (Oddly it does allow a position where white has ten queens, which is also illegal.)

    Thank you. Is there a way to visualize a chessboard other than Fen Viewer?

    Not here but if you make an image of it as a jpeg file you can upload it here, or post it somewhere else and post a link to it.

    (The uploader is accessed through Go Advanced when posting, there is an attachment button on the top line then.)
