MCC Online Saturday Allegro (Ongoing 2020 thread)

With the passing of MCC's trial for its online Allegro now several weeks old, the format of the MCC Online Allegro is now becoming more and more settled.

Because of that, this thread will now serve as the ongoing place on Chesschat to find out developments and results for MCC's Online Allegro.

Remember to always click on the MCC's Allegro Webpage - http://www.melbournechessclub.org/ev...turday-allegro - to get the Tornelo link to the next Saturday Allegro (this will change every week), as well as instructions on how to enter, current entry fees and prizes.

Is it possible to view the games automatically move by move? On my phone the game commands are far isolated from the board.
Zionism is racism as defined by the UN, Israel by every dirty means available steals land and water, kill Palestinian freedom fighters and civilians, and operates an apartheid system to drive more Palestinians off their land

Congratz! Mr. Baron. I was up in the middle of the night - Copenhagen time - and followed your last moves in the second round. Then I changed to Daniel P vs. Tony T.

Cool that MCC keeps organizing this tournament.

Spotlight game for Allegro number 4 is Michael Baron vs Kayson Wang round 2. In this game you see the ebb and flow of advantage with experience eventually prevailing.

Note that one does not have to be member of MCC to play! All welcome! A chance for the non-MCC players who live far from Melbourne CBD to play at MCC !
Also some very instructive games commentary provided by Alexei throughout the tournament.

This week's spotlight game is three game fragments as a masterclass of chess tactics with the winner of Allegro-5 Frank Lekkas. Here is some game analysis in a PDF.
