By the way, this claim from the petition is simply wrong: "The subtitle of the headline on Herald Sun as of 29th January, “Chinese virus pandamonium” inappropriately labeled the Coronavirus by race." If something originates in China, it is, by definition, Chinese. The term 'Chinese virus' refers to the country (as in 'Chinese Chess'), not the race.

Are there unjustly turning students away? If students had just returned from China it has to be considered. When AIDS first visited us maybe strict quarantine should have taken place and saved many thousands of lives.

Chinese chess players and parents are tough. They will survive distasteful and posts without much damage, remember who made them....and will never forget .

There is a saying in Russian ''The Caravan is going to move forward even if the dogs keep barking'' - well, China is moving forward all the time. As we (Chinese and ''Chinese-minded people'') keep working hard and smart across the globe we become less and less vulnerable .
