    Day chess available six days a week at Gold Coast

    Day chess available as follows if you are looking for a game.

    Monday

    Runaway Bay Library from 11 am. For details contact Allan on 0417073094. Please bring a chess set if possible.

    Tuesday

    Lyn Richardson Community Centre (near West Southport). 2 a Gidgee Court Molendinar. 11 am to 2 pm/3pm. For details contact Chessray on 0411520833

    Robina Town Centre near the the Kitchens .Car Park Level 1 Orange section. From 10.30 am on.

    Wednesday

    CSI Southport 154 a Scarborough St Southport . From noon on. Life Membership of CSI costs one dollar. Great discounts on food available for members. For details contact Chessray on 0411520833

    Thursday

    Runaway Bay Library from 11 am. For details contact Allan on 0417073094

    Friday

    Lyn Richardson Community Centre

    Details same as Tuesday above

    Saturday

    Robina Town Centre. Details same as Tuesday above

    Sunday

    No clubs known that meet on Sundays

    If anyone knows of any other day chess groups in the Gold Coast area please add to the list.

    I wonder if it might be better to combine all your separate threads about Gold Coast chess into this thread? That makes all the information easy to find. The thread might also be better under Australian Chess, rather than General Chess Chat, for the same reason. Kevin Bonham (or another moderator) can do that for you.

    Also, it might be good if these details were also on the Gold Coast Chess Club website (https://goldcoastchessclub.org.au/) and/or the CAQ website, as that's where people would probably look first.

    I've moved them and also merged the two Southport ones. I'd merge them all except for being unfamiliar with the regional geography; if they do all relate to the same area it would make sense to merge them all into one thread.

    They are all Gold Coast chess clubs so I'dsay within 30 minutes at most, most of which are within about 10-15 minutes of each other.

    All the chess days are starting to have new players attending. Chess is expanding at the Gold Coast. Great to see.

    There is a shortage of boards at the two runaway bay sessions. So if you can bring a board and set with you it would be appreciated

    Chess Gold Coast Wednesdays. Change of venue

    As from 26 February, on Wednesdays, chess players will meet at the Southport Library from 1 pm to 4 pm, and at the Pacific Hotel, Australia Fair from 4 pm to 7 pm.
