    I’ll give the hint: in these kinds of studies, you really need to save time. Often you try to get rid of a piece by placing it on a square an opposing piece was planning to move to anyway

    It’s impossible to prevent black from making at least 3 pawn moves, so his fourth will be kxh2. How can you limit black’s stalling and set up a clean mate in one at the same time?

    You pretty much solved it Desmond, Black has one last try in kd1 instead of capturing but not hard to refute that.
