OK, I'm about to head off to Ballarat now.
It looks like great weather over the long weekend, with temperatures ranging from 8 overnight to 20, and minimal chance of rain.
Best of luck to all competitors.

Any live games this year? As I speak I can't find anything on Chess24 (which hosted the live games last year).

The way Jack has been playing in the first 5 rounds, you should be entitled to post this in the ''Money'' thread of the forum as an example of good investment!

Thanks, unfortunately, there's no chess related market and I don't mean betting market (although that could be a future possibility).
I am thinking in terms more in line of just a co-operative investment little project run in its entirety
as a non profit organization by ACF, Clubs and coaching schools.
I am transferring this to an appropriate thread since it has nothing to do with the Ballarat Begonia Open

    Round 6 this morning.

IM Chapman,Mark (SA) vs FM Puccini, Jack (VIC)

Don't miss this replay of their 2016 Doeberl Cup encounter

For historical purposes the then 16 yo Jack had utilized all his skills to defeat his formidable opponent in an interesting Scheveningen Sicilian.
Here is the game (I was there watching it)!

    White: Mark Chapman
    Black: Jack Puccini

      0-1
