Sanders' lead over Buttigieg is narrowing, now just above 4 points, but I've not seen any sites doing useful projection attempts for the final result. (Probably this would be done using demographic data.)

Sanders' lead is down to 1.6% but the networks are all calling that he has won. Hope for their sake that they know what they are doing.

It will be funny if Sanders becomes the president due to Trump demolishing Biden. Sanders will take Trump's wealth whatever whilst Biden would not have touched it. The TV networks will make a fortune with all the political ads. The Dems are broke except for Bloomberg and that could make him president.

Yang was claiming some innovative ideas but don't know if originally his.

I think that by the time of the election there will be so much more controversy around Trump that it is a lay down misere result. Will the GOP regret it then. Apparently Romney is a bishop in his church no wonder he stood up. They don't make them like him every day. And there maybe 4 million Mormons in Utah that Trump is isolating by picking on Romney.

I read his Wikipedia after seeing your post. A brilliant guy who broke many black ceilings. So many achievements.

Finding the arguments re Bloomberg of the form "Bloomberg can't win because he's not a real Democrat and real Democrats won't vote for him" to be remarkably similar to the arguments made about Trump last time that were wrong.

Bloomberg has the money and gumption to kick Trump many times where his mother never kissed him - that is his attraction. Trump's small tax for big rich has over filled GOP coffers that is the big worry for the Dems. The GOP has non stop being flooding the airwaves to successfully hold the base and even rise in the polls. If Mr Bloomberg promises $15 per hour and medicare for all he is a shoo in. Even though they may be against his religion. What I find amazing is that USA has not had a Jewish president yet, so many brilliant Congress members are Jewish.

Trump tax rate cuts have benefited the economy and the vast majority of Americans

Rather hard when Sanders and his thralls hate billionaires. They might ask, why is Bloomberg spending billions for personal gain instead of helping the poor?

Again with the tropes. In reality, the vast majority of Americans got a tax cut even if they don't know it, as even the όberleft NY Times had to admit in Face It: You (Probably) Got a Tax Cut (14 Apr 2019). The main exceptions are the rich who live in expensive houses in Democrat states with high property taxes, who have lost part of their SALT deduction.

Of course, those who already pay more federal taxes will usually get the biggest tax cuts, with the exception of the above. But let's suppose that a typical American family has a cut of $1000–$2000. This family is better off! That a millionaire might be paying $10k less doesn't change that fact, although the Leftist envy-coddling leeches will try to convince this family otherwise.

But the most important thing was cutting the corporate rate, which was the highest in the developed world. It should be obvious, but clearly isn't to the Left, that money that the government confiscates in taxes can't go towards hiring and pay rises. About half of workers received pay rises, and unemployment is at record lows (225,000 jobs in January), including for blacks. Also, companies brought back billions of dollars to the USA. You can demagogue all you like how this mainly benefits shareholders, but one of the largest classes of shareholders is retirement funds held by ordinary Americans.

We should be cautious of misusing the Laffer curve to say that tax rate cuts will always bring revenue increases, but sometimes they do. Tax revenues have increased to record highs since the tax reform, so blame for increasing deficits must lie with the spendthrift Congress (and with Trump only in so far as he didn't veto 2,000-page spending bills as he should have, although the Left would have demagogued about "shutting down the government").

A surprising comment from you. Trump has been the most pro-semitic president in history. The Israelis know this anyway.

I don't expect Bloomberg to get personal gain out of being POTUS - I haven't heard of him being a corrupt, conman crook like Trump. Doing polices that help the poor is better than spending his own money. It is better spent on fighting the carnival barking clown as he describes Trump.

You can't blame Congress for Trump's proposed budget for 2020, which has massive deficits:
Even with all the proposed spending cuts, the budget would fail to eliminate the federal deficit over the next 10 years, missing a longtime GOP fiscal target. Instead, White House officials plan to say their budget proposal would close the deficit by 2035. But it would only achieve this if the economy grows at an unprecedented, sustained 3 percent clip through 2025, levels the administration has failed to achieve for even one year so far. The U.S. economy grew 2.3 percent in 2019, the weakest level since Trump took office.

Yes, Republicans in general have been bad on spending since Trump was elected. Saw similar pieces in Reason, such as:

Trump's Budget Follows in the Footsteps of Giant Spenders
It’s a testament to fiscal irresponsibility.

If Bloomberg chose Kamala Harris as his running partner, that is a black woman, it may solve his woman and racist problems perceptions. I can't remember her politics.
