    Bundaberg Chess

It has finally happened. I have sold my house and will be relocating to the Gold Coast towards the end of June . I was the foundation member of the Bundaberg chess club. I look forward to getting involved in chess at the Gold Coast

Good luck from me also - I hate moving! Speaking of moving, maybe the duplicate thread in General Chess Chat should be re-moved?

I enjoyed my time with the bundaberg chess club

Since starting the club in 2003 the following is some history

    Getting the club incorporated

Being secretary and treasurer for many years, and secretary from start of club until December 2017

Starting chess in schools with twelve schools now having clubs and being taught by club volunteers

Starting Sunday tournaments for children which are conducted normally on the last Sunday of the month

Starting the bundaberg weekender normally held in August each year

Starting the inter schools children’s tournament held in October each year, with over two hundred children attending the last one

Obtaining many grants for the club to purchase chess equipment

Fantastic record Allan you can well be proud of. At Gold Coast they have social chess at Robina Town Centre on Tuesdays and Saturdays it could be. I think it is now near the Kitchen, previously was near Victoria's Secret. I can provide contact no. if you like. Take your own equipment.

We also have fantastic social chess sometimes in Byron/Mullumbimby region.

Zionism is racism as defined by the UN, Israel by every dirty means available steals land and water, kill Palestinian freedom fighters and civilians, and operates an apartheid system to drive more Palestinians off their land
