    Violence in our streets

Disturbing incident yesterday morning in Fitzroy Street St Kilda.

According to a person who witnessed the events a bunch of hooligans attacked a vagrant person
sleeping in the street. Two police officers tried to interfere and make an arres! They were assaulted themselves
and brutally beaten by the thugs.

The (graphic) video clip tells the story.

Hopefully all will get arrested and end up behind bars!
Also, those who oppose policeman carrying guns....something to think about!

Horrific and shocking, I hope they are brought to justice.

Footage seems to indicate caucasians were the offenders, but this was not mentioned in the report. Why is it that only if it's committed by non-whites the media report the race?

4 Arrested! So looks like at least some of them (initial report suggested 6 involved) will be brought to justice. Hopefully, the will not get off easy!

I think in all cases, media should (if information is available) report not only the ''race'' but also background of the offenders, names, etc.

We are living in a small world these days and they do deserve a bit of ''publicity''~!

The attackers were all Caucasians and the attacked vagrant person the cops tried to save was an Aboriginal!
