Thx, had no idea who he was actually . And after reading AC's quote of his...had little interest in learning about his works further

With Cameron and Mark Latham both sacked there are now more outsiders outside Outsiders than outsiders inside Outsiders.

Kipling was a well known lover of empires..and George Orwell was definitely not a socialist. Maybe you should read Down and out in London and Paris and get a better grasp on Orwells views and life experiences.
    Is reunification possible?..

You learn something new every day. There is a special literary award for fiction about cats: the Stephen Memorial Book Award. There's also a Macavity Award, but it's not for cat books. So is there a similar award for fiction with chess in it - the Caissa Prize, perhaps?

Macavity was FB handle o the late Malcolm Pyke (as far as I remember). While the award obviously has nothing to do with Malcolm...somehow I am pleased to know now it exists.

Macavity was also the name of Malcolm's beloved cat! Pikey mourned for days for his loss!

There have been an avalanche of books coming out about Trump all with fascinating names but it is difficult to even keep up with the headlines never alone read a book about him. Trump's government is reminiscent of Gough Whitlam's final year in office for all the wrong reasons.
Zionism is racism as defined by the UN, Israel by every dirty means available steals land and water, kill Palestinian freedom fighters and civilians, and operates an apartheid system to drive more Palestinians off their land
