Ben needs a win for an IM norm, according to IA Craig Hall.
Hope Ben wins today, it’s been a while since this tournament has produced an IM norm.

And he has done just that against Daniel Gong! Ben Hague gets the IM norm and wins the Masters with 6.5 points ahead of Vishal Sareen (IND) on 6 points and Chris Wallis (AUS) on 5.5 points.

Last round game between Gong and Hague was a very exciting battle indeed! Good to see IM norms decided in such an exciting fashion.
On another note, Its not often that a top seed comes last in a round robin event with 2.5/9
