    Altibox Norway Chess 2018

Traditional Super-Tournament is taking place in Norway (Surprised no-one else started a thread about it earlier).
The low-light of the event Ding injuring himself while cycling around the city and having to withdraw from the event.

Anand, So and Carlsen are first equal with +1 each.

A curious slip by both players. Draw was agreed. However, after white's last move - black suddenly gets decent winning chances .

The last move 31.Ke4 isn't included on the Chessbase report, it may be an error (as claimed in the chessbomb comments), for instance when positioning the Kings on the sensor board to show a draw.

Caruana won the tournament, defeating So in this last round game where So missed a draw on move 41.

Great effort. If he is confident enough - he will give Carlsen run for his money....but I still favor Magnus!

Me too. Carlsen won their individual game in this tourney too, but well done to Caruana for overtaking him.

Magnus has another gear. When he is playing well he is incredibly hard to beat.If he is in ordinary form he will draw or defeat most top 10 players.Kasparov said he was underprepared for the WC match versus Karyakin.
