I see Marcel Salgardo has a "3g". He was put in the bottom division at the Perth club at the start of the year and scored 5/5, so was unrated on the March list. It's unfortunate that the results aren't pooled across the rating periods in this case, since he's played 11 games now. (It's sensible to ignore the old results if the player lost all of them -- they were probably a beginner, and when they start winning some games, the old results aren't reflective of their new strength.)

That aside, thanks Bill for your sterling work as ever. I finally hit 1500!

I can quite believe it. In the last 2 days i have only played Asians (all Chinese, actually) of approximately that age group in the NSW U 1600. 2/4 for me.

And the same thing happens at universities, Top performances go mostly to Asian Students - Chinese and Indian Background - this is why I believe these hardworking and smartworking kids are the future of Australia!

I beg to differ. The future of Australia is in the mixture of all nationalities. And in my own experience, the system does not work perfectly at the moment. I hope some corrections will be introduced in the near future.
