The main tournament has just begun (Midday Australian time).

Yesterday 6 played in the rapid - everyone was a bit rusty! Regan beat an FM and Lillian managed 3.5/7

All 10 Australians managed to arrive despite some passport hiccups!

We have horrible internet access and the food is a little better than expected.

The first game PGN viewer was getting stuck on both sides' castling because of an overlength dash between the two 0s. Never seen that problem here before!

I've explained what the issue is so you can convert them (internet access permitting) or maybe someone else can. Long dashes in castling moves need to be changed to short dashes (-) and the moves need to be put in PGN tags. Click Reply With Quote on my post and you can see how I formatted those.

As I'm extremely busy I want people not to rely on me for things.
