Has anyone ever rooted their Android phone ? Im still running a Samgung S5 but need to run an app that requires the phone to be rooted. Jusr wondering if bricking is a very real possibility. Cheers.

I haven't and I would be suspicious of an app that required me to do it.

Hi RR. The program im thinking about using is called UPSM Manager [ROOT] : https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....manager&hl=en

I quite often put the phone in UPSM Mode to save battery life but the number of apps I can use is extremely limited. UPSM Manager [ROOT] seems to be the only app that allows me to add and subtract any app I like to UPSM Mode.

Yeah OK fair enough. I don't know much about it. Personally I would buy a spare battery before I rooted it.
