Just wanted to point out that Anton's Round 9 opponent, Antoine Favarel 2357, is also having a good tournament. I get that Favarel needs 0.5/2 for an IM norm. In Round 8 Favarel is White against GM Levin 2532. If Favarel loses tonight and Smirnov wins with black against Xylogiannopolous 2279, then a draw in Round 9 will give both players the norms.

Another draw today means that Anton needs a win tomorrow. Opponent Favarel already has the IM norm after also drawing today.

Come on Anton! I take it this would be his 3rd and final norm?

I believe given the average rating of the opponents - 7/9
