    In recognition

I hope this new thread can be used to acknowledge chess personalities' contribution to society by their professional,
social, sporting and other achievements other than chess! I believe Dr Michael Baron's most recent accolade is a fitting start!

    Excellent work, Michael!

But what does this have to do with politics? I'm sure there's already an appropriate thread somewhere, but if not, it should be in the Non-Chess section.

    Sabrina and David.

We all know them for their lovely, enthusiastic and creative approach to chess matters.

Well, apart from their solid contribution to our chess community,

they are equally active in doing commendable work for the general community as well.

Congratulations Sabrina and David, we love you!
