I'm comfortable enough with current immigration policy, but I don't agree with your ideas on deporting everyone.

Convicted criminals who committed serious crimes are not everyone. They are a clear liability.

Good call! Pity that prison is not a labour camp so he would spend life working hard as a mule with his pay going to families of the victims.

True...but at least we get them out of here....
How about Punishing Sudan? Saudi Arabia? etc.
Furthermore, other countries can send our criminals back to us in return...Relying on Australians committing less serous crimes overseas.

If they've been here since childhood, they became criminals in Australia, not New Zealand. No wonder the Kiwis take a dim view.

As Australians we should do our level best to keep them out...and NZ will obviously do their level best not to accept them...so each country has a job to do. Likewise, with Sudanese - if they commit crimes...kick them out if we only can!

    A selectively dim view, apparently.
