Australian Chess Players wanted
The Correspondence Chess League of Australia (CCLA) seeks new members to play for Australia in world-rated events. As a member of the International Correspondence Chess Federation (ICCF), Australia plays in a variety of team events such as Olympiads/Friendly Matches, and also we nominate players to compete in World Cups, Zonals and selected International Invitation events.
We play all our games on the ICCF webserver at www.iccf.com and the use of books, databases and engines is permitted. The CCLA Annual Membership fee is $30 (or $20 with our paper magazine sent by email) and the membership year starts on 1 October so you have three months to make your first year payment.
For players who wish to play without using engines, we offer a range of social tournaments (we call them BICYCLE or FAST events). Please email Brian Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are a past member or want further information about CCLA activities.
New members are invited to register on the ICCF site at www.iccf.com and we will contact you directly. Please ensure you enter your correct email address and other details.
