Proposed renaming of thread "Threefold rule clarification"

Great answer by David, but mods: for clarity could we change this thread's name to "Threeefold Repetition Rule Clarification" please?
God exists. Short and to the point.

The three e's aside, some pedants would quibble with this and say that it is actually only a twofold repetition rule.

    Such pedants would be correct!

Well, if you are all in agreement, I propose that this thread be renamed "Proposed renaming of thread, "twofold rule clarification".

Yes, the title wording is ambiguous - it could (and does) imply the proposed renaming of the thread that currently has title X, or the proposed renaming of a thread to title X. However we will not have another thread on renaming the renaming thread!

Another possibility would be "Repetition Rule Clarification" and perhaps also including the number of the rule.
