    Rooty Hill RSL Chess Club Events 2016

    This thread will advertise and then report on the various events run by the RH RSL CC throughout 2016.

    Chess Next Monday, 18th January
    7:15pm start. Blitz Tournament (10 mins, no increment). 9 rounds.

    Annual membership fees for 2016 Are now due:
    $30.00 for Adult membership $20.00 for Concessions (Pensioner/Unemployed)
    An additional $10 for full membership of NSWCA if required.

    On Monday 11 January we held a Handicap Blitz (5-0) tournament with over 40 players.

    Results - Knockout out Swiss:
    Top seed 1.5pts start, then half a point added to start score for every 100 points below 2200. Players eliminated once their score was zero.
