    Thanks for all this! By the way, Tom Maguire is from QUEENSLAND and Melody McKenzie is now a QUEENSLANDER.
    The CAQ has decided to continue its support of the ACF Grand Prix in 2017 by paying 50% of the entry fees into the ACF Grand Prix for CAQ affiliated Chess Clubs. Perhaps other State Chess Associations should
    consider doing this for their Clubs and their players! It certainly works out well for CAQ members as many feature in the prize list once again.

    Thank mate, all these stats are based on last December's ratings list, as per ratings divisions. I'm sure they will be updated for next year, but I'll go in and edit these to be sure

    I think what the CAQ is doing for the ACFGP is amazing, and I think anything the other state associations can do to encourage more tournament participation can only spell good things for Aussie chess.
