The 2017 CAQ Council has now been elected. The main change is that the Rating Officer is now Gail Young, as Matt Gilpin was unable to continue in the role in 2017. Michael D'Arcy will be assisting Gail in this new role for her - although she has been on the CAQ Council for 21 years and is now a Life Member of the CAQ!

Here is the 2017 CAQ Council:

PRESIDENT: MARK C STOKES VICE PRESIDENT: ANDREW FITZPATRICK TREASURER: JIM ROGERS SECRETARY: MICHAEL D'ARCY MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY: GAIL YOUNG REGIONAL LIAISON OFFICER: ALLAN MENHAM

PUBLICITY OFFICER: MICHAEL D'ARCY DEVELOPMENT OFFICER: HEATHER RICHARDS RATINGS OFFICER: GAIL YOUNG with assistance from Michael D'Arcy PUBLICITY OFFICER: MICHAEL D'ARCY

JUNIOR CHESS CO-ORDINATOR: MICHAEL D'ARCY COUNCIL MEMBER: SCOTT DULLAWAY WEBMASTER: HEATHER RICHARDS NEWSLETTER EDITOR: MICHAEL D'ARCY.

I think they should have found more positions for Michael D'Arcy to be involved with!
