How to claim..if he says there were no witnesses? without basic honesty and decency on his behalf, such a claim is pointless~

More hard fought blitz at the club tonight! An ultra strong 10 player round robin where I was 2nd bottom seed. First prize shared by FM Baron, Partsi & Schmidt on 7.5/9. Seeya next Tuesday!

My bad! Michael outright first on 7.5, Simon Schmidt half a point behind, Dimitry Partsi half a point behind him.

No controversy this week, but some good laughs as Kolak "Kolaks" Baron, getting an illegal move out of him in the dying seconds of a lost game with a big crowd watching. I tried to mate Simon in the last seconds of our game, missing he moved into check at least once and continuing on my merry way... Some fun blitz finishes!

3rd was 3 way tie Partsi, Kolak and Puccini

a little controversy with Kolak v Puccini when Kolak saw Puccini had made an illegal move as he hit his button to complete his move and then stopped the clock after he hit his button. Puccini said he claimed illegal move after he hit his button and maybe he was right plus Kolak button was down when clock was stopped. they decide to call the game a draw as position was fairly even and Kolak was happy to draw with Puccini.

Of course last week's so-called ''controversy'' lived on with Kalish getting no handshake before or after the game from me

The tournament is on every tuesday at MCC starting 7.15 very sharp so be there by 7 pm. I will not be playing in it from July onwards (as my tuesday night uni teaching will resume) so in the meantime, trying to promote the event the best I can!

I might be coming down to give this one a try, now that I have a bye this week for dodgeball
