Should be some publishable games for the "Chessk!t Battle" thread.

I'm thinking Xie-Charles, and perhaps even Chesslover and alexmdc

    Oh, and congrats to Tomek!

Shouldn't there have been 7 rounds instead of 6, Bill?

After all, a majority of NSWCA Opinion Survey respondents said they preferred 7 rounds, not 6!

Yes, my list was intended to be exhaustive.

Well done, by the way. An excellent result losing only to a George and Ray.

As explained to you before the rounds depend on venue availability amongst other things.

    My game vs George

    PGN Viewer

    59. Ke4 is the final blunder, I think 59.Kg4 draws after Rg5+ 60.Kh4 and Black is forced to play Nf7 allowing White to queen. That ending should be drawn (White's king can't enter if Black just pushes the rook from g5 to e5 and back, and the Nf7 can't be driven away)but with that time control (10s per move increments) and the fact that I had under a minute left might have worked against me. George was blitzing me in my time trouble (hence 36 Ke3 and 59.Ke4), but it worked against him.
