    Thanks again.

I think most of the game was quite level until i went a little awry and found myself in a spot of bother. Im not sure the thematic k.i.d. ...f5 was any help. Maybe i should have played more cautiously and offered a draw earlier.

How did you find things ?

I underestimated ...f5 - at first I thought you were just losing a pawn but I think it's actually a decent move.

I was surprised you swapped off the last minor pieces, I thought 35...Nxe5 Bxg6 36.Kf6 and then Rxc3 was interesting. Generally the bishop should be good with open position and play on both flanks but somehow that knight seems pretty strong with the rooks on the board. I don't know - maybe that's just short term and in the longer term the bishop would become strong. I was pretty pessimistic about that bishop earlier, and thought about chucking a c-pawn to give it a home on c4 (before your N controlled that square). Might have been worth it.

I gave 35...Nxe5 a momentary thought and do agree it is definately more ambitious but opted for what i felt was the safer option after enduring a few too many worries with how the position was looking.

Ill have to check with the comp what ..Nxe5 leads to.
