    I thought I was better for a while there but I underestimated the strength of your rooks on the d-file and also your bishops. They seemed to find much better diagonals than mine did.

    Yeah in the early parts of the game I definitely disliked my position a little, for example e3 was simply a wasted tempo. But I think after I went with the e pawn sacrifice I was able to get my pieces working well, I'm really pleased with that one.

    the position was quite complicated throughout the opening and middlegame.
    One day I'll put something clever here, but for now this will just have to do.

    Yes I thought I had prevented e4 but it was well timed - My 15...Re8 was probably a mistake in light of what happened.

    shouldn't this be winning for white because the white rook is behind the passed A-pawn.
    The slower I play the better I play, who would of thought?

    OK, that makes sense. In other circumstances, White would have nothing to lose by trying to win. E.g. bring the K to the Q-side, and playing h4 if allowed. Then it might reach Kc2 vs Kc4, then White moves his R up and down to force Black to move and thus give way.

    If I recall correctly, at the time I didn't really feel like pushing the edge because I had other stuff going on plus as stated, a draw was effectively the same result as a win. But yeah, definitely OTB or if in a team game I'd definitely be pushing hard for a win since white doesn't really need to fear losing.
