A most unusual game. Early on, White didn't have anything for the exchange, esp. with doubled f-pawns as well. But a few moves later, Black's N was on h3 and defended very shakily with an unstable P. It almost looked like White had turned the tables by winning a piece. However, with the reduced material, the R became very strong and the B+M were uncoordinated.

“There’s no point blaming the tragedies of socialism on the flaws or corruption of particular leaders. Any system which allows some people to exercise unbridled power over others is an open invitation to abuse, whether that system is called slavery or socialism or something else.”—Thomas Sowell
Yes I had seen much earlier that I would probably pick up that knight, but by the time I got it I think I was close to lost.

cheers for the game r.r.Originally Posted by road runner

The potential 3 times rep at move 34 helped a lot to allow me to start getting adventurous again.
Its a pity i missed 38....Nf4+ as i had considered it as one of my potential moves on the 30th.
Something like 30....nf4, 31 gxf4 exf4, whites bishop retreats and then i play ....Be5, ....h5.
Im not sure what this leads to but it seemed rash even for my liking.
