The Life and Games of Mikhail Tal completely changed my appreciation of chess and approach to the game as a younger man, and the three-volume set of games by Paul Keres was also a major influence. Capablanca's endgame precision amazed me, Nezhmetdinov's attacks astonished me and Kasparov's understanding of dynamic positions has always been impressive.

I love Andersson's endgames and Karpov's positional middlegame masterpieces.

I checked out a Karpov game and excellent of course. Later a Ivanchuk v Kasparov game at Linares popped up that Ivanchuk won. An excellent illustrative game on how 2 knights can master 2 bishops. I will have to revisit for re-inforcing key principles. Strictly speaking i haven't followed any modern GM.

Zionism is racism as defined by the UN, Israel by every dirty means available steals land and water, kill Palestinian freedom fighters and civilians, and operates an apartheid system to drive more Palestinians off their land

This one, you mean? Other times, like this and this, Kaspy made the B-pair tell.
“The history of the 20th century is full of examples of countries that set out to redistribute wealth and ended up redistributing poverty.”
“There’s no point blaming the tragedies of socialism on the flaws or corruption of particular leaders. Any system which allows some people to exercise unbridled power over others is an open invitation to abuse, whether that system is called slavery or socialism or something else.”—Thomas Sowell

Yes that first game was a classic for knights. I may check out your other references later. Thanks. I have an affinity for Ivanchuk due to being close to his uncle in Sydney. When still before Glasnost(?) I would see his letters with news a few months before public release.
