    Book on chess openings

Can someone recommend a good book for beginners/club players (somewhere between 1000-1300 level)?
    Many thanks in advance

A good general book for explanations of modern openings is Fundamental Chess Openings.

Zionism is racism as defined by the UN, Israel by every dirty means available steals land and water, kill Palestinian freedom fighters and civilians, and operates an apartheid system to drive more Palestinians off their land
