State Rating Officers have better things to do than waste their time doing what should be done by organisers/arbiters.

It is unacceptable for organisers/arbiters to be submitting SP files to State Rating Officers without any id numbers whatsoever because they manually typed the names and ratings rather than imported the players from the SP master files.

Similarly it is unacceptable for organisers/arbiters to expect State Rating Officers to generate SP files from results posted on websites or via spreadsheets.

Organisers/arbiters need to get their act together.

Or organisers should use TORNELO which will automatically match players with ID numbers, create FIDE rating output files and .... well, it just about makes ratings officers redundant.

That's the first award I've seen for some time - be generous, give the lad 100!

...I don't want to go among mad people Alice remarked, "Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: we're all mad here. I am mad. You're mad." "How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat ,"or you wouldn't have come here."

Leonid scored 160 Fat Ones just over a week ago. It's a true story that I considered paying a higher fee, but seriously, given the protagonists, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

And I'm also easily stirred as well. Just to explain to third parties, David Cordover's overture to me was to "make my life easier" when in reality he's trying to garner information for his none-too-cluey programmer.
