Jack Puccini is the giant killer of round 6, with this nice win over Sylvester Urban:

There are two games left in the round, with Baron just going a pawn up in a rook ending against Scharrer (though the position is still fairly drawish), while Gorka-Chew Lee has been all over the place & at first glance appears fairly balanced at present, but anything is possible.

Amazing performance by the MCC juniors. Jack Pucchini playing board 1 in the last round! Max and Ari tying for 2nd!

Also a bit confused who got the 1st U1800 prize? The Italian visitor is 2278 Fide so I assume its not him!

Congratulations Michael! You are a champion! You made those of us (including myself) who didn't think you were going to win it understand that strong players do their talking on the board! I wish you many more successes in 2012!

Well the prizes go for ACF rating, and he doesn't have one so I think he has the right to claim it?

Frank, do not think so. If a player has a Fide rating - it is to be used for pairing purposes allocating him into a right section.

Also in general an unrated player is not (or should not be!) eligible for any ratings prize.
