This is a bit premature. I have not received any GP registration for 2012. The 2012 Australian GP is not even yet announced.

But you could enter the Yulgilbar-Think Big Oceania GP. Entry form attached!

Thanks Brian, I asked Grant yesterday if I could start promoting the event and the post above is literally a complete "copy-paste" of the first post of the first post of last year's thread, with updated dates, I wasn't sure what "Grand Prix" referred to, and thought that it was about the MCC Grand Prix . In order to avoid haste I have edited the post,
    Jack
Edit: I just noticed that the schedule has been changed in order to accommodate for the the Australian Junior Championships, and I have just changed that as well.

    Nearly right:

    Round 1, 11am
    Round 2, 3pm
    Friday January 27th:
    Round 3, 7pm

    Round 5, 3pm
    Sunday January 29th:
    Round 6, 11am
    Round 7, 3pm

    OR

Swap 11am/3pm for 2pm/7pm on Thursday and Saturday. (if there is huge demand for afternoon/evening rounds instead of morning/afternoon)

    A few admin issues...

    Just a few admin tasks:

    1. Can someone please cut and paste the tournament details to the other forum - for some reason I cant seem to log into it and Ive thus given up on trying to do so...

    2. I will be starting a list of entries very soon - so sign up early!

    3. Ive started an "Event Page" on facebook for this tournament, so please find it and add yourself and send it to your chess playing friends!

    4. This is the first event in the 2012 MCC Grand Prix - its a great chance to collect some points!

Hi Prez, if you are planning to attend tomorrow's final day of the Championships and the Reserves please bring along flyers fot this tournament as well as other Club related material such as calendar etc.
It's going to be a great opportunity for promotion for MCC since present and past members seem to have a field day in both competions!
    Zero trollerance!
