I'm thinking of running (but not playing in) a new CC tournament here (normal, not "freestyle") starting at the start of November if there is any interest. See this archived forum if you want to get an idea of how these tournaments run; it involves playing several games at once.
Probably 3 days/move with a timeouts system to allow players to take longer on a limited number of moves. If a player failed to move in time a timeout would be taken automatically and a player would only forfeit if they took too long when all their timeouts were gone.
Anyone who thinks they may be interested (no firm commitment needed yet) let me know.
NB Because we have had some hydras try to mess up tournaments before, anyone who joins the board between now and the event start can only play if I'm satisfied based on posts that they are genuine.

Zwischenzug was also interested but two is not enough for a tournament. I'll try again next year sometime.
