180 Movie - 33 minute documentary - watch now on YouTube

Just 33 minutes of your time - it has a vital message that needs to be heard.
Starts off talking about Hitler and the Holocaust then relates it to the 'holocaust' of millions of unborn being aborted.

OK, so it's a melodramatic Godwin's Law confirmation, it's clueless about both the nature of life and the differences in impacts of murder and abortion and it uses up 33 minutes of the viewer's life. Anything else we need to know?

And it was confirmed by the first post.

I feel that 33 minutes is actually a big ask and would not commit to watching something that long without some good reason. Surely you could condense it into a <5 minute best points type of argument and if the audience feels you have something worth looking into then maybe watch the 33 minute version.

Based on the first post even 33 seconds would be a drag.

So, This Godwin's Law thing means that you shouldn't bring up Hitler and the Holocaust in anything for fear of being labelled a 'Godwin's Law confirmation'?

All up over 60 million people were killed in WWII, somewhere between 11 and 17 million through the Holocaust.
Worldwide there are about 42 Million abortions every year where the voiceless are put to death. I ask, what is wrong with drawing a comparison between these two events?

    Here's a 32 second trailer:

Bringing up Hitler and the Holocaust is fine when the subject of discussion is actually Hitler and the Holocaust or something else to which it is directly relevant.

At other times if you draw dubious comparisons to the Nazis people are likely to think you don't have a valid argument and are resorting to shock tactics to try to imply that if you don't agree with them you are as bad as a Nazi sympathiser. The more likely effect is that people will just switch off or criticise you for mentioning the Nazis.

Firstly those killed by the Nazis were unquestionably alive, while there is dispute as to at what point a "life" should be considered to begin and whether abortion is really the same as "putting to death".

Secondly the killings carried out by the Nazis are generally considered - except by real Nazi sympathisers - to be completely unjustified, while even if you consider abortion to be "killing" there is still a debate to be had about whether it is reasonable and even desirable in all or at least some circumstances.

Thirdly the killings carried out by the Nazis killed people living full developed lives with personalities of their own, thus affecting relatives and friends of the deceased who had experienced those personalities and mourned for them. While it is true that an abortion represents a missed chance for such lives to develop, the loss of a potential rather than an actual is not felt anywhere near as keenly nor by so many.
