Jean Watson will be creating a nice beautiful flyer for this event once again, but my previous post has all the vital information that people may need to know in advance.

If possible, could I be a deputy arbiter for this event?

    Flyer

Here's the flyer for this tournament - btw, the image of the 'little ghost', or amoeba as I think of it, is one of the commissioned pieces of graffiti on the exterior of the MCC club premises in case people are wondering what it has to do with chess.

Actually, the other day I noticed an artist working on a huge and impressive mural (completely different style, more of a photo realist) on the opposite side of the road to the club so it's become a really interesting area visually.

On seeing the nice new colourful Jean West flyer, I have (as ACF Grand Prix Director) added this event to the 2011 Yulgilbar Think Big Grand Prix Calendar (as Class 4) and sent the invoice to the MCC Treasurer Andew Saint!

    That Gletsos Number

    Two goals for this one:
    1) We have to beat the Vic Open entries
    2) We have to get that number so we can achieve bragging rights over Gletsos for life!

I dont think that Bill actually gave us a "Bill Gletsos Number" for this tournament... I cant remember...

I doubt we will beat the Vic Open entries - its a big jump to 84, but it is possible... We will try...
