    Box Hill Chess Club Championship

Yes the Box Hill Championship is coming.

It will have a very special form of acceleration.

It will not use the double dutch pairing system.

It almost certainly use five digital boards.

It will have other brand new features.

I will post more later as I am off to the gymnasium.

    Round one

There is still time to enter via the web site or in person by contacting Gerry Hartland at 9878 3163 or Trevor Stanning at 0409 259 490

Some potential players are playing the SIO in Sydney. Others may not have returned from the school holidays. Don't worry. Contact Gerrit and special arrangements will be made. Already one game has been played in advance.

I 've played my first game vs Karl, and did punching bag duties for his preparation for the Doeberl!
Looking forward to see you all 2nd round.
BTW I saw Efrain 10 minutes ago in Parramatta!
I saw Chris too, he is looking to buy a pocket chess set!

    the championship field

The fields for our championship have been similar for the last 3 years. When I say similar I mean similar in size, 2009, 62. 2010,66. 2011, 66 [at this point in time].I do agree however it is good to see Scot back
