    Cool Redlands Summer Cup January 16th 2011

    Redlands Summer Cup 2011
    Now in it's third year, this Rapid Tournament is a cheap, fun day of chess play for both adults and juniors.

    WHEN: Sunday January 16th 2011
    WHERE: Legends Room, Redlands RSL, 8 Passage St, Cleveland, 4163
    PRICE: $5 per person.
    Extra $3.50 per person for bottomless tea and coffee
    CHECK IN: 9:45am - 10:15am
    ROUNDS: 7 rounds from 10:30am
    TIME CONTROLS: 15 minutes
    PRIZES: Trophies and Medallions plus Lucky Door prizes too!

    We haven't had any complaints about the solid 15 minutes (except for you GG) and it makes the scheduling of the rounds alot easier.

    WOW! Thanks Amir. It's great to see chess clubs supporting eachother

    AMF Bowling has donated 10 free bowling games and I'll be donating at least 10 DVD movies so we'll have heaps of lucky door prizes to give away!!!

    Do not have five seconds a move increment. the fifteen minutes is fine and allows the tournament rounds to progress more smoothly
