Hey I am interested, but my ACF is like 900. I have a JCL of 700 so can I still play in this tournament?

There will be a supporting event. I am not yet sure about the exact format though. Try to encourage your friends, once we have enough interest, both the main and the supporting event will go ahead.
I'm interested in playing in this tournament. But my interest and whether I can actually play are 2 different things

Is this tournament going to be advertised in other locations? The reason I ask is that some junior players won't have heard of ChessChat, and might not hear about the NSWYM.

Well it should be in the next mag but if someone phones Richard it could be advertised on the web. Mr. siow lee has the emails of all ATS juniors so if he sent out invites more people would come.
Don't forget this is an Under 20 event, so recent ex-juniors wouldn't get the magazine.

Can I join?
It's been a couple of months, is there any new info about the NSWYM?![]()

I guess I'll express my interest for this as well, although my rating seems a bit low, and I don't even have a fide.At least I'm getting a decent boost from the Major.

At least this time I'll be live bottom seed (Dawen probably got more than 8 points from Aus Major!).Originally Posted by Nicholas D-C

The elevator to success is out of order, but the stairs are always open!
