Level 24 now defeated with black - disappointingly I was tired enough to miss trivial wins (because I thought I won easily after both sides promoted, not the case) and had to rely on another blunder by it to win.

Very nice game, KB. It's satisfying to see the knight dominate the White LSB like this. It can be such a menace, in many games the strongest minor piece.
So what's your excuse? For running like the devil's chasing you?

FWIW I've now defeated chess.com Level 25 ("3200") with black but only through trickery. After many hundred losses and a few draws with the French (I was possibly winning one game but stuffed it) and also trying 1...e5 2...Nc6 for a while I switched to the Petroff and soon discovered by accident that if I play 3...d6 and immediately premove 4...d6-e5, in about one game in six it will (instead of returning the knight to f3 or playing the Cochrane) just leave it on e5 to be taken which is of course a massive blunder. Even so it is one thing to be a piece up on move 4 against a "3200" computer and another to actually beat it - even if queens are exchanged early it tends to roll pawns up the centre and this can be hard to stop. It took me a few dozen losses and a draw or two to (just) make use of the piece odds it was giving me.

Fixed the PGN. Nice win KB. Like you said, not easy even a piece up.
