As this year is the tenth Sydney Easter Cup I will have to try and organise a T Shirt or something.

Johnny Bolens, current state lightning champ (I think) has attended all 9 previous tournaments. George Xie attended a few but did not reach first prize (my memory?).

Angelito Camer being two pawns down and looking beaten had a beautiful endgame against Joseph Nguyen to win just in time, being about 10 minutes behind. Will post th game later. Camer is the only player undefeated and on 4 points. Johnny Bolens was defeated by Joseph Nguyen.

this game is not finished yet, but white has to lose its rook to capture pawn promoted to queen. So now a Rook and Knight behind. White promotes pawn to queen, Black captures with rook and thus losing it. White is then able to promote pawn to queen as black's knight is too distant away to prevent. White then mates Black with seconds barely on clock. I have not checked that all moves recorded correctly
