FEN Viewer

Version: 1.0.0

Description: Chess position embedded on the bulletin board, executed by BB Code.

Usage:


[fen]fenString[/fen]

Example Code:


[fen]r5k1/r4p1p/1pq1pPp1/2b1P2P/2p1PP1Q/4BK2/P1p5/6RR w - - 0 35[/fen]

Code Output:

r5k1/r4p1p/1pq1pPp1/2b1P2P/2p1PP1Q/4BK2/P1p5/6RR w - - 0 35

Hi Skip,
the problem seems to be the width of the display window, and I am beginning to wonder if this is because I don't understand the significance of the numbers at the end of the string,

Would be delighted to be let know what I am doing wrong,

What do you mean a screenshot? I am not especially good at computers


but as an example

What is it I am doing wrong?

It keeps asking about castling, but I have now figured that to display it the castling function must be dealt with somehow, the initial problem involved wrapping it in code tags,

I just put whatever values for now, but if you use a FEN generator or something it's a lot easier:
