Tournament 1 Australian Masters
Australian Masters- 12 player round robin IM norm event.


Tournaments 2 Reserves
ACF and FIDE Rated Tournament- 12 players round robin with a chance for unrated players to gain FIDE rating. Winner will get an automatic entry for Australian Masters in 2008

Where: Melbourne(Springvale)?VIC

Playing dates:
Saturday 8th December Opening ceremony 12:30am
Saturday, 8th December Round 1 & 2 1 pm 7 pm
Sunday, 9th December Round 3 & 4 1 pm 7 pm
Monday, 10th December Round 5 6:30 pm
Tuesday, 11th December Round 6 6:30 pm
Wednesday, 12th December Round 7 6:30 pm
Thursday, 13th December Round 8 6:30 pm
Friday, 14th December Round 9 6:30 pm
Saturday, 15th December Round 10 12 pm
Sunday, 16th December Round 11 12 pm 5 pm Closing ceremony
Time Control:
90 minutes+30 sec.per move
Entry Fees:

Australian Masters
GMs,IMs,Foreign-Free FMs-$75 Non-titled players-$120 $20 discont for juniors.
Reserves
FIDE Rated players-$80 Unreted players-$120 $20 discount for juniors.

Prizes

Masters 1st $1000 2nd $600 3rd $400
Reserves 1st $300 2nd $200 3rd 100
Prizes may be increase if more sponsorship can be found.

Players who wish to play have to enter by Friday,28th November 2007.The final field of the tournament will be known on Monday, 3th December 2007.
